What Does A Wedding Coordinator Do?

Simply put, a wedding coordinator is your safety net for your wedding day! We're there to make sure that every detail you've planned is carried out exactly as you envisioned it!

Cheer You on Through the Planning Process

Although we're not helping you make every wedding planning decision, we are here for support throughout the planning process! Our coordination couples receive monthly email check ins and access to our exclusive wedding planning app to help guide them through their wedding planning. Plus, we're always just an email away for any questions!


Create Your Personalized Wedding Itinerary

When we reach two months out from the wedding date, our couples receive their wedding questionnaire to gather all the details that they've planned and we create the outline of their itinerary. The itinerary includes the timeline, wedding notes, floor plan, and vendor list. It is a live document that we use to keep everyone (couple, vendors, wedding party, and key wedding guests) on the same page.


Communicate with Your Vendors

We touch base with every vendor you've hired and finalize all the details, starting with your venue at the final walk through. After we attend the final walk through, we reach out to all of your vendors to make sure timelines and details sync up. A week out from the wedding we send a PDF copy of the finalized wedding itineary to everyone.


Coordinate Everything on Your Wedding Day

Using the wedding itinerary, we guide everyone (couple, vendors, wedding party, and key wedding guests) through the day. We oversee the set up on every detail, cue vendors when special moments are occuring, and guide our couples through every formality of the day. If any surprises come up during the wedding day we are there to handle them quickly and efficiently without disrupting our couples' celebrations. We also make sure that our couples are taken care of and able to enjoy every moment of their wedding day by grabbing them apps during cocktail hour, swapping out fancy shoes for dancing shoes, and anything in between!


Close Up After the Reception

Our team will make sure your receptions ends seamlessly and then oversee the breakdown of everything. We make sure to box up any items brought in by our couples and get them to a designated person at the end of the night. We also check in with your venue representative after everyone has left to make sure all obligations have been met before leaving.
