Photography Check List

Here are some picture suggestions to help you with your photo wish list! Remember, every wedding is different, and you can focus on any pictures that are important to you! These are just suggestions to help you brainstorm :)

We will also work with your photographer when building your wedding itinerary to include every photo detail that is important to you!

​Pre Ceremony

  • Getting ready

  • The wedding attire {i.e. on a hanger}

  • Shoes, jewelry and accessories

  • The flowers

  • Family/friends helping with dress or suit

  • Wedding party (if applicable) seeing the couple in their wedding attire

  • Couple with their attendees of honor (if applicable)

  • Couple with their wedding party (if applicable)

  • Wedding party receiving their bouquets or boutonnieres (if applicable)

  • Family/friends seeing the couple in their wedding attire

  • Couple with parents and siblings

  • Flat lay of invitations

  • Close-up shot of the wedding bands

  • First Look or First Touch

  • Couple separately making their way to the ceremony

Ceremony

  • Exterior and interior shots of the site before guests arrive

  • Close-up of couple's reaction to seeing each other (if applicable)

  • Both sets of grandparents walking down the aisle

  • Wedding party walking down the aisle

  • Close-up of couple just before they make their entrance

  • Couple at the altar

  • Both sets of parents watching the ceremony

Cocktail Hour

Keep in mind there is only 50 to 60 minutes to get the formal pictures done once the wedding ceremony has taken place. It takes an average of 3 minutes to set up each formal picture, so multiply how many pictures you want by 3 and that will tell you if you have enough time to get all the photos you are requesting.
